Luxury Scents Worth It?
Hello Lykkers! I'll be honest... every time I spend over $100 on a perfume, I question my life choices for at least a few minutes. Perfume is one of those beauty categories where the price difference can be huge. You can find amazing fragrances for under $50, but somehow we still get tempted by those gorgeous luxury bottles sitting on the shelf.
After trying a few higher-end fragrances, here's my take on whether they're actually worth the splurge.

Diptyque ILio (Summer Limited Edition)

Price: $227 / 100ml
Out of the perfumes I own, this is probably the one I've been wearing the most lately. The scent is floral, but not in a heavy or powdery way. The prickly pear note gives it a fresh, slightly green quality that reminds me a little of cucumber water on a hot day. It's clean, airy, and perfect for warm weather. What really impressed me is the longevity. I can still catch hints of it hours later, which makes me feel a lot better about the price tag.

Replica Lazy Sunday Morning

Price: $100 / 30ml
This fragrance was my introduction to Replica, and honestly, it's still my favorite from the entire collection. The scent is exactly what the name suggests. Think freshly washed sheets, clean laundry, and soft florals all wrapped together. It's comforting, effortless, and easy to wear every day. My only complaint? The staying power. I absolutely love the scent itself, but on my skin it disappears pretty quickly. By lunchtime, I usually need to reapply if I want to keep smelling it.
I've learned that a higher price tag doesn't automatically mean a better fragrance. What makes a perfume worth the money to me is whether I genuinely enjoy wearing it and how often I reach for it. For example, Diptyque ILio feels worth the splurge because I love the scent and the performance matches the price. Replica Lazy Sunday Morning smells beautiful, but the longevity leaves me wanting more.
