Makeup Brush Picks!
I’ve always thought makeup brushes say a lot about how someone approaches beauty. Some people just grab whatever works, while others really take time to find tools that feel right in the hand and on the skin.
For me, brushes are not just accessories—they shape how the whole routine feels. Two that I keep reaching for lately are the Blush Brush by Glamfix and the Powder Brush by Aeris.
They each bring something different to the table, and I didn’t expect to notice the difference as much as I did.

.1 The Blush Brush by Glamfix

The first time I used this brush, what stood out immediately was how light it felt. It didn’t have that bulky, overstuffed feeling some blush brushes have. Instead, it was soft but still had enough structure to give control. I like that I can build color slowly without worrying about going overboard in one swipe. The shape also helps place the blush exactly where I want it, especially on days when I’m aiming for a more natural look.

2. The Powder Brush by Aeris

This one feels like the opposite in the best way. It’s fuller, fluffier, and perfect for setting everything in place. I tend to be picky with powder brushes because some can feel too dense and end up moving the base underneath. But this one is airy enough to dust product gently while still doing its job. I usually use it to set my T-zone, and it spreads the powder evenly without leaving patches.
What surprised me most is how these two brushes complement each other. The Glamfix brush focuses on precision and control, while the Aeris brush is all about softness and blending everything together. When I use them in the same routine, it feels balanced—like one adds detail and the other smooths it all out. It’s not something I used to think about, but now I notice how much easier my routine feels when the tools actually make sense together.
