Sweet Floral Fragrance
I’ve always had a soft spot for floral fragrances, but not in the overly sweet, overwhelming way. I like the kind that feels like it belongs to you rather than announcing itself the moment you walk into a room.
Over time, I realized not all florals are the same—some feel airy and quiet, others are richer and more expressive. These two have stayed with me for a while, and I notice how differently they settle into my day.

1. Jo Malone Fragrance

What I like about Jo Malone fragrances is how effortless they feel. There’s a lightness to them that doesn’t try too hard. The floral notes come across clean and almost transparent, like they’re just gently there rather than layered too thick. I usually reach for this when I want something subtle—something that sits close and feels personal.
It’s the kind of scent I catch in small moments, like when I move or when the air shifts slightly. It doesn’t overwhelm, and that’s exactly why I keep going back to it.

2. Gucci Bloom

Gucci Bloom has a completely different presence. It leans fuller, more rounded, almost like walking into a room filled with fresh flowers all at once. The scent feels more expressive, and I notice it lingering longer throughout the day. I tend to wear this when I want something a bit more noticeable, especially when I’m dressing up or heading somewhere that calls for a little extra. It’s still floral, but with more depth, like it carries a story instead of just a hint.
Floral fragrances aren’t as simple as they seem. They can be light or rich, subtle or expressive, depending on how they’re blended and when you wear them. These two sit on opposite sides of that spectrum for me, and I like having that contrast—it keeps something as small as fragrance from ever feeling routine.
