Secret to Longer Lashes!
Mascara is one of those small things that can quietly change everything. Even on days when I don’t feel like doing much, a quick swipe somehow makes me look more awake, like I tried a little—even if I didn’t.
These two mascaras ended up in my routine for very different reasons, and I’ve noticed I reach for them depending on the kind of day I’m having.

1. Barenbliss Roll to Volume Mascara

Barenbliss Roll to Volume Mascara feels playful right from the start. The brush design is slightly different, and it took me a moment to get used to it—but once I did, it actually made application easier in a way I didn’t expect. The result leans more toward volume, but not in a heavy, dramatic sense. It builds nicely without making my lashes feel stiff. I like using this when I want my lashes to look fuller but still soft, like they have shape without looking too “done.”

2. Maybelline Sky High Mascara

Maybelline Sky High Mascara gives a completely different effect. The wand is slimmer and more flexible, which makes it easier to reach even the smaller lashes. What stands out is the length. It stretches the lashes upward in a way that feels clean and defined. Instead of adding a lot of thickness, it separates and lifts, giving that elongated look that feels a bit more polished.
These two don’t really compete—they just serve different moods. Barenbliss feels softer and more relaxed, while Maybelline Sky High leans cleaner and more refined. I’ve stopped expecting one mascara to do everything. Some days I want volume with a bit of softness, other days I want length and definition. Having both makes it easier to match whatever version of myself I feel like that day.
