Simple Hand Care!
Hey everyone! With all the focus on skincare for the face and body, it’s easy to forget that our hands also need attention—especially during the hot summer months.
Constant washing, UV exposure, and daily chores can leave hands dry and dull. That’s why a minimal yet consistent hand care routine can make a huge difference. Here’s my go-to hand care lineup that keeps them soft, smooth, and protected!

1. Body Scrub

It’s easy to overlook the hands when exfoliating, but they need it just as much as the rest of the body. The outer parts of the hands often accumulate dead skin from constant exposure and washing. Lately, I’ve been making sure to gently scrub my hands a couple of times a week to remove buildup and keep them soft. Exfoliating not only helps lotions absorb better but also keeps the skin tone even and smooth.

2. Hand Cream

A rich, nourishing hand cream is a must—especially when frequent handwashing is part of your daily routine. I usually go for thicker creams that help replenish lost moisture and create a protective layer. While applying cream after every wash would be ideal, I try to at least use it in the morning, before bed, and after long exposure to water. A little consistency goes a long way in preventing dryness and keeping hands feeling supple.

3. SPF for Hands

One of the most overlooked steps in hand care is sunscreen! Our hands are constantly exposed to the sun, especially while driving or spending time outdoors. Applying SPF helps protect them from sun damage, premature aging, and uneven pigmentation. I like to use whatever body sunscreen I have on hand—it doesn’t have to be fancy, just effective.
A simple three-step hand care routine—scrub, moisturize, and protect can make a noticeable difference. Hands often show signs of aging first because they’re so exposed, but with a bit of care and consistency, they’ll stay smooth, soft, and radiant. Treat your hands like the rest of your skincare—they deserve it too!
